- Voice-capable modems designed by AT&T Microelectronics (now Lucent
- Technologies) report distinctive ring information according to IS-101
- (DRON=, DROF= format). Such modems are in Compaq Presario and some
- AST Research PCs. Boca Research sells a Windows-only version.

- Note that the distinctive ring feature is implemented in the controller
- software, not the DSP. So our customers who use the Lucent
- Technologies data pump with their own controller software may or may
- not report distinctive ring -- you'll need to ask them.
